A unique and fast solution!
Double R has implemented a brand new and innovative logistic system. The first steps were taken in 2015 and in 2022 the system was ready and fully operational. With the AMR's from the Lowpad company and programming from Actemium, Double R managed to create a revolutionary way to sort and proces parts orders on a large scale. Of course such a system is not created in a day. It took many hours of searching for the right solution, fine tuning and intregating ideas step by step.
New webshop and machines
In 2015 Double R launches a new webshop and the amount of orders rises quickly. At this moment every order is still sorted, scanned en packaged by hand. In 2019 packaging machines are intalled. This ensures fast and secure sealing of the packages. Here we see the first step towards a more streamlined process.
Lowpads and optimalisation
2020 is the year that the first convestations with Lowpad and Actemium take place over what kind of solution would help with the growing number of orders, make the process more efficient and ensure a high rate of reliability. It's 2022 and the system is fully operational and running great. An immediate rise in producivity is noticed.
Reliability and customisation
Al these developments have led to a unique logistical solution! The proces has become 100% reliable. The system creates an overview of all incoming and departing orders, so possible mistakes are easely detected and corrected. The system also allows for attention to the individual wishes of customers. If an order needs to be sent, we can now locate and deliver the order faster. The system is also beneficial to the staff. Because of the new solution they walk a shorter distance between orders.
Send on request and combine orders!
When your order is booked in and ready to deliver you receive a message via our app and on the webshop. You can then choose to send the parts by sending us a delivery request. We will combine all your orders into one delivery, different brands and different orders can be combined to save on freight costs. The parts are packaged with care and we make sure to use plenty of filling material for padding. We handle your parts with the care you would expect from a professional partner.
Location and transport
Double R Parts has it's office and warehouse situated in the middle of the Netherlands. We are conveniently located between two major highways. This means that Rotterdam harbor and Schiphol airport are less than an hour away! We are also close to the German and Belgian borders. When you order at Double R parts you have many option to send your parcels. We are partnered with many of the known carriers such as DPD, UPS, TNT, DHL, Fed Ex and Post NL.
Fast movers
We keep stock of so called 'fast movers'. These are service parts such as camshaft belts, airfilters, oilfilters, sparkplugs and much more. This ensures that you will get your service parts on time! We're also AEO certified. We can ship world wide and are able to draft export and customs papers if they are needed.
